Bay Area theater forecast for spring 2015 - SHN: Angela Lansbury, as the dotty psychic Madame Arcati, headlines director Michael Blakemore’s acclaimed revival of Noël Coward’s “Blithe Spirit,” a smash hit in the West End and on Broadway, coming to the Golden Gate Theatre for a very short run Jan. 20-Feb. 1. Disney Theatricals’ Tony-winning “Newsies,” the high-energy retelling of a historic New York newsboys strike with book by Harvey Fierstein and music by Alan Menken, hits the Orpheum Feb. 17-March 15. The inimitable Dame Edna arrives for a brief visit in “Dame Edna’s Glorious Goodbye — The Farewell Tour,” at the Orpheum March 17-22. And “The Book of Mormon,” so hot that it sold out its previous two visits as soon as tickets became available, returns to the Orpheum April 15-June 7. (888) 746-1799. www.shnsf.com. - SFChronicle
