Sense8, SF Opera, Murder in the First

Naked in the park: Producers of “Sense8,” a popular Netflix show, were filming a scene at a San Francisco park when something went awry, as in someone accidentally got naked.

It was supposed to be a romantic scene set at the tree swing in Billy Goat Park. But producers got more than they bargained for: TV location manager Matthew Riutta was slapped with a $1,000 fine and must now pay a $10,000 security deposit for any future park filming permits.

Chance, San Francisco Opera, Act of God, Frankenstein, San Francisco Ballet

Hugh Laurie TV Series For Hulu, Based On Noir-Ish SF-Set Novel Chance, Scouts Locations In Mission

Face to Face With Hugh Laurie "BUT BY THE TIME House’s run finally ended, in 2012, Laurie gave absolutely zero consideration to playing an eponymous doctor on an American TV drama series again. Chance, however, had a couple of things going for it. First, it’s really nothing like House. The new show is aggressively dark. Laurie’s character gets sucked into a vortex of multiple identities, sexual intrigue and madness. In many ways, Chance is the anti-House." -Wall Street Journal
